This is because the energy for stroke lengths between 50 mm and 120 mm is absorbed so reliably, that people and their possessions are protected.

The desired attenuation force is set manually; as a result, this door damper can absorb energy up to max. 190 Nm/stroke. Impact masses up to a maximum of 7,000 kg can be overcome depending on which type.
